I find myself constantly inspired by their vivid hues when I'm working on my paintings of songbirds

where the sounds of wildlife at night evoke a sense of wonder and mystery

I enjoy capturing the combination of attitude and rough textures creating a dynamic painting

At first, light when I saw the large bulls emerging from the dusty haze, with oxpecker birds flitting around the buffalo in the dawn light, I knew the scene would be a compelling painting.
