xGuzvriesea 'Patricia' GOUDAEA and then the plant fadesA hybrid of a Guzmania and a Vriesea, introduced by DeRoose Nurseries in Belgium, of unreported parentage. The plant has characteristics of both genera, a compact, full rosette of arching, deep green leaves and a bright red inflorescence that is a cluster of tight branches and wide, short bracts. Very clean looking and very long lasting in bloom. A really choice plant that is great for interior use.
