At the start of the finish

since they were finding small batches of the oldest and best sherries what would happen if they made their own whisky in Spain and matured them in these casks to produce small quantities of exceptional sherry matured whisky

We were exceptionally lucky to have acquired a fresh Muscat Cask from an acclaimed winemaker (and his creative kids) which we filled with 6 year old Peated Whisky

Official Tasting notes: NOSE: Icing sugar. Root beer. Oak smoked cheese and meats. PALATE: Sherry infused peat smoke with sweet oak and liquorice root. FINISH: More smoked meatiness and cheese in the long aftertaste.
