Grows on a sandstone formation along the banks of the Tsiribihina River of western Madagascar

It has a glossy red veneer at the plant matures and green speckles throughout the leaves

There is not much of this plant in cultivation

A fairly large grower with 3. 25 inch wide, glossy leaves in a 30 inch rosette. A rich red color has bit yellow spots throughout the leaves. A nice plant not often seen.
